Still Good helps the elderly in times of need

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the world in unprecedented ways. The economy is suffering, millions of people have lost their jobs around the world and are stuck at home for the foreseeable future. Many businesses have been forced to shut down, but for those that remain open, the struggle is real to stay afloat in these difficult times. Businesses are reinventing themselves, are cutting costs or are putting in place new programs and services to cater to a different reality currently, and what may be a different world once we recover.

Still Good has launched a charitable and crowdfunded program, targeted at helping the elderly who are the most at risk during this pandemic, and who have been the most isolated. The program, launched on Laruche Quebec (a Quebec version of Kickstarter) asks the public to purchase a box or several boxes of cookies, along with personalized messages intended for the elderly recipient(s). Within a few days, Still Good surpassed its goal, and has already successfully delivered 2200 boxes of cookies to old age homes around the greater Montreal area.
